Parliament is a forum for discussions with an open mind says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised all MPs to “contemplate deeply” and have discussions to make the Monsoon session of the parliament as productive and successful as possible.

He said the meeting was vital since it would pick a new President and Vice President for the nation. We see the parliament as a place for civil discourse, he said.

He said all MPs should abdicate their duties to preserve the house’s honor.

He continued, asking lawmakers to fully use this session for the parliament to work and make the greatest choices.

He said, “There should be opposition and in-depth study for helpful input to policy-making.”

PM Modi urged the MPs to remember the aspirations of the liberation warriors who sacrificed their lives in battle and those who lived behind bars.
