Again a Shooter injured 3 people at Six Flags theme park in Illinois

Gunfire on Sunday left three individuals wounded in Gurnee, Illinois, outside the Six Flags amusement park, according to the Gurnee Police Department.

Two patients with non-life-threatening injuries were sent to the local medical facility after the shooting at the theme park. 

At the same time, the third victim chose not to be taken there, according to a statement from the police department.

According to the statement, “this evening’s gunshot was not a random act, and it looked to be a targeted attack that happened outside the park.”

According to the preliminary investigation, suspects in a white car drove into the Six Flags parking lot, got out, and started firing at a different person before swiftly getting back in and driving away.

According to the agency, the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System is now aiding with removing visitors and employees from the theme park. 

The incident is still being investigated, the police said.

On its website, Six Flags Great America is a 300-acre (121-hectare) amusement park with 17 roller coasters, entertainment, and three kid-focused zones located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee.
